Many of the hexagons being quilted lately are more busily printed, and thus the quilting doesn't show up as well. I counteract this by using the print itself for my quilting template.
Four more rows of hexies, plus the borders, to go!
Love it!!! How many panels did you use for your hexies?? I have 98 more hexies to put together but I don't think my quilt will end up very large. BTW, this is your friend Susan from FB!
I used one panel for the center, and cut 6 others for the hexies. But I added a lot of other fabric, too -- the Countryside Floral line by Maywood Studio. I’m also using Stonehenge fabric by Northcott – the mottled blues and golds.
