Slowly But Surely...

I have just discovered that I have only five more rows of hexagons plus the bottom borders to do.
Hope springs eternal!

This is the last two days' work.

And here's Teensy, sprawling out of his bed at the top landing, just down the hallway from my quilting room door.

Most of Another Row, Atlantic Beach Path

Most of another row of the Atlantic Beach Path quilt is done.

Quilt Details:

Quilt measures 123" x 124"
Technique -- One-Block Wonder
Batting: a base of 80/20 cotton/poly, with Quilters' Dream wool on top
Thread: Bottom Line #60, So Fine #50, Omni #40, King Tut #40, Signature #40, Mettler #50 -- all these, just because I'm using a variety of colors, and these are what I have on hand.
There are 439 hexagons in the quilt. I have not repeated a hexie quilting design... yet.
Hours in the quilt so far: 365.5, with 163.5 in the quilting alone.
The quilt will be for our youngest son and daughter-in-law, Caleb and Maria.

And behind the quilting table, there lies Teensy atop the longarm cord, with his feet tangled in it.  He has not one, but two nice kitty beds in that room.  But he, being a cat, lies on my cord.
