Thimbleberries Village Quilting, and Sunrise

There was a beautiful sunrise this morning.

Someone made these microhandles for the lady from whom we purchased the HQ16.  They work fairly well for close work... but the Real McCoy (HandiQuilter's genuine microhandles) would be much better, as they have on/off and needle up/down switches right on the handles, just like the regular handles have.  They're pricey, though.

I didn't quilt it while it was this loose on the frame... just loosened it to get a picture of the whole width of the row before rolling it forward.

Thimbleberries Village Quilt Loaded on Frame

This is the second big quilt I've done with my 'new' HQ16.  Just starting the first row.

Tabby always has to be in the middle of things...

Checking to see if the bobbin tension is okay...

Harvest Sun Quilt

With three smaller quilts done, it was time to give the HQ16 a real run for its money.  It performed marvelously on this king-sized quilt.
