Labels for Quilts

The quilt labels are all sewn onto the quilts, and now I shall begin on Keira's quilt. Or maybe I should begin on supper, instead!  😄  We're having little venison roasts, baked potatoes, fresh corn on the cob, and fresh fruit salad for supper. I forgot to add 'with love' on Violet's label, so then I had to leave it off of her sister Carolyn's and brother Willie's labels, so as not to seem partial to one sibling! I'll write lots of loves, hugs, and kisses on their cards.  😊  They know we love them oodles and kaboodles.

Brooklyn's Little Sweetheart's Quilt Finished

Granddaughter Brooklyn's Little Sweethearts quilt is all finished, and so is the little pillow.  The quilt measures 57" x 57"; the pillow is 10½" x 10½".  The batting is Quilters' Dream wool.  There are six colors of 40-wt. thread on top, including Superior's Omni (ice blue, butter yellow, natural white), King Tut (variegated fuchsia), Signature (dark brown), and Gutermann (tan).  There's 60-wt. fuchsia Bottom Line in the bobbin.  The fabric in the Attic Windows is part of the Little Darlings collection by Henry Glass Fabrics.

Quilting Done, Little Sweethearts

The quilting is done on the Little Sweethearts quilt, and I'm ready to cut it from the frame.  Next, the binding, the pillow, and the label.  😊

Another Row Done, Little Sweethearts Quilt

After getting home from Omaha this evening, I got one more row done on Brooklyn's Little Sweethearts quilt.  That leaves one row and one border to go.

Top Border, Little Sweethearts

I have begun quilting the Little Sweethearts quilt for granddaughter Brooklyn, 19 months.  The top border and part of the first row are done.  The last picture is the entire quilt top before loading it on the quilting frame.

Little Sweethearts Quilt Top

Today I made 5 ½" Flower Basket blocks for the corners, and finished putting on the borders.  The Little Sweethearts quilt top for Eva is all put together.  I plan to put together backing and batting tomorrow and load it on my quilting frame.
