Video: It's a Parachute! It's a Paraglider!! It's a... QUILT!!!

Shortly before she passed away in June of 2020, my late mother-in-law told some of her granddaughters about the hand-embroidered, hand-quilted quilt she had made, and told them where to find it. We looked for it, but couldn't find it. Daughter Hannah found it when she was helping me clean my brother's house a few weeks ago (perhaps you'll recall, my brother and my late mother-in-law, who were the same age, married after losing both their mates to cancer). We're going to give the quilt to Larry's sister, who's the oldest of the living siblings. I wanted to take pictures of the quilt before giving it to her.

Oooookay. This was the wrong day to take pictures outside. The wind was blowing right up under the deck (one story up) and making a balloon out of the quilt. I tried positioning it artistically on the iron bench, but it blew off. So I took a video instead. 😅

I discovered, in spreading it out and photographing it, that there are stains on the quilt, so it is now in the washing machine on delicate cycle with Tide and OxiClean, and Downy in the rinse.
