Mosaic Lighthouse Quilt, Completed

And here is the entire quilt, all done (well, except for a few long crystals in the lantern panes that I have yet to purchase).  The crystals are hard to photograph, but a few of them sparkled in the sunlight.  They are in the pool of water at the bottom left, and in the splash against the side of the cliff.

There are 709 hours in this quilt, not counting the label.  There are 19,200 half-inch squares.  It measures 79" x 97", including the tabs.

Scroll down to the next post to see the label.

Hanging from the deck ... sun a little too bright, so the contrast is a bit too much:

  1. Wow. This is amazing. You made me a Thomas Kinkade fan. You put so much work into this. I like the idea of the crystals, too. Very creative.

  2. Just BEAUTIFUL Miss Sarah! What a labor of love!! Excellent work! Loving hugs, Deb Quiltbeeme

  3. This is truly beautiful! What an extraordinary work of art!!
