Here is a
pillow I just finished to coordinate with The Graceful Garden quilt. I
don't usually make the pillows until the quilt is done, but I wanted to
do Cyber Quilters' bucket skill, which was trapunto, and decided a
coordinating pillow
was the
perfect thing to practice on.
The stippling on the background was done with my Bernina Artista 180; it's one of the decorative stitches. The embroidery on the center standard was done by hand.
I've turned the pillow and the flash on my camera every which way to try to show how the petals, leaves, and stem are stuffed (I used three layers of 80/20 cotton/poly batting), but it's somewhat difficult to see, I think.
