The Soaring Eagle quilt for our oldest grandson Aaron, 24, is finished.
It measures 101" x 107". I designed it in EQ8. The central panel is a Robert Kaufman print called 'Patriots'. I used a variety of thread colors and weights on top in Magnifico, So Fine!, and Omni; and I used a dark gold 60-wt. Bottom Line in the bobbin. The batting is Quilters' Dream 80/20.
I custom-quilted it on an 18" Handi Quilter Avanté, using rulerwork and free-motion.
