While I wait for the backing for Levi's quilt to arrive, I'm starting on grandson Josiah's quilt. In hunting through the panels I'd purchased for the grandsons, I discovered that I have 20 panels for boys, 2 for girls -- and only 15 more to make for boys! (well, except for the ones I'll need to make another for, on account of babies not staying babies). Here's the one I've chosen for Josiah. Now I have a question: what do you do with those little dabs of border you wind up with when you buy a panel like this? (Click on picture to see borders.) I've used them in various places on various quilts, but I'm never completely happy with it.
