I'm gettin' better at these swirly feather things! I'm so glad I decided to use this design in the sashings. I practiced and practiced on paper... and then launched in. Hadn't ever used this exact quilting motif before. JoeAnn's quilt is unique! 😄 (Won't be for long, though, because I'll definitely be using it again.)
Top row of stars is done. Rolling the quilt forward to row 2.
There's roast venison and carrots in the oven, and it's beginning to send wafts of aroma up the stairs to my studio!
