Last night I got the binding put on the elk panel quilt; it's all done. Today I took pictures of it both inside on the twin bed and outside on the deck -- it was finally warm enough... and the wind wasn't blowing too hard... and it wasn't snowing! (though we have been issued a winter weather advisory, and could have 4" of snow by tomorrow). The backing is black fleece, and sooo soft. The quilt measures 50" x 60".
Just beautiful! The quilting is great!

DeletePeople quilt in Nebraska?
ReplyDeleteLOL In between running from rampaging tumbleweeds and dodging marauding prairie chickens, some of us find time to take a stitch, now and again! :-O-
DeleteHi Mrs. Lynn! I've been in the market for a king size quilt that has an elk on it. I was wondering if you would be interested in making me one? My email is bdeligans@deligans.com
ReplyDeleteAlso your quilt is gorgeous!
I’m sorry, but I don’t make quilts for customers; I only do the quilting after the customer has put the top part all together.
DeleteBut thanks for the compliment, and thanks for inquiring!
