Center Panel & One More Row of Hexagons

The center panel is all quilted, along with the row of hexagons on either side.  That means the Atlantic Beach Path quilt is about two-thirds done.

This will be the last quilting post for a few days, because we are going to Texas to purchase a Bernina Artista 730 that a quilting friend is selling to me.

I've added photos of the central section before I sewed the rows together and the bottom right corner of the quilt, so you can better judge at what point in the quilting I am.

Another Row, Atlantic Beach Path Quilt

I finished another row on the Atlantic Beach Path, rolled it forward -- and there was the bottom of the center panel, and the row of hexagons underneath it!  So progress is being made.

Seven More Hexagons

Seven more hexagons were quilted today.

Today I did thread-painting on weeds and beach grasses, wooden railings and sandy steps... and quilted eight more hexagons.
