Look, look! My machine -- an HQ18 Avanté longarm -- is back in working order! This afternoon we took it to the store in Fremont where we bought it, and the tech (owner of the store) set the timing. Larry had it close... very close. And now it's right, and Larry will know how to get it just right if it ever needs to be reset.
I got the first two rows of my customer's red, white, and black quilt finished.
Last night I finished 173 pinwheels (see previous post)... and this evening I created a design in EQ8, into which I will incorporate the pinwheels. I'm going to call it "Americana Eagle Quilt". The first picture shows the line drawing (from an online coloring book) that I'll use to make an appliquéd eagle. The second image, with the eagle photo, is to give a better idea what it will really look like. The quilt will be 63" x 73".
