Almost Halfway Done Quilting Bear Paw Quilt

I'm almost to the halfway point of the Bear Paw Quilt, and have begun the 'thread painting' on the bear panel.  Perhaps you can't see the thread very well on that dark bear, but it's there!  🐻

Quilting First Blocks of the Bear Paw Quilt

The first row of blocks in the Bear Paw quilt is quilted, other than the sashing below the blocks.  I used a pantograph called 'Pink Lemonade' for the blank blocks.

Top Borders Quilted, Bear Paw Quilt

The top two borders of the Bear Paw quilt are quilted.  It will be light custom quilting for this quilt, which measures 94" x 94".  The batting is 100% cotton.  The top thread is 50# So Fine, and in the bobbin is 60# Bottom Line.  The last photo was the view from my second-floor quilting studio window this evening.

JoeAnn's Blue & White Quilt, Natural Lighting

Here is my customer's blue and white quilt on our back deck.  It's ready to be shipped back to her.  She will put the binding on.  It measures 95" x 110".   I used Quilters' Dream Wool batting, my favorite kind.  There is #40 Signature and Omni thread on top, and #50 Aurifil on the back.

I finished my customer's blue and white quilt tonight!  I'll take pictures of the whole thing in natural lighting tomorrow.

I just finished the fifth row on my customer's blue and white quilt.  That means there's only one more row, plus a border, to go.
