Fleece Monkey Blanket
Fleece blanket for Nathanael for Christmas. The back is plain brown, and the fringed edge is tied.
There were just a few small pieces left over... so I put them together as a wee blanket --
-- for this little monkey we gave Nathanael with his fleece blanket.
Tapestry Quilt
This will be a Christmas gift for Aaron, who has a nautical-themed bedroom. The tapestry blocks are from pillows I got at the Goodwill. The binding was worn, but the tapestry pictures were still in perfect shape. I took the pillows apart, used the forms for covered pillows to coordinate with other quilts, and mixed these squares with minky squares for this throw. The back is minky, too, as is the matching pillow. The quilt measures approximately 48" x 64". The pillow is 15" x 15".
Suede-Shearling Throw
This is for Victoria for Christmas. I got the thick, soft fabric at Wal-Mart and only had to hem the edge. I found the pillows and the stuffed pony at the Goodwill.

Mariner's Compass Back
Here is the back in its original state. But I can't leave it like this, because it's larger than the top, and some of the outer borders would wind up lost.
Soooo... I sliced it in half both horizontally and vertically, and sewed it back together again with the borders in the center.
Now to pin it together with top and batting!
