Tonight I finished quilting my customer's red, white, and blue half-square triangle quilt. Meanwhile, Tiger is doing his best to sleep in his bed in the corner of the quilting studio, despite my disturbing him with first the quilting machine, and second, the camera.

Customer's Red, White, and Blue Fireworks Quilt
This evening, I finished my customer's red, white, and blue fireworks quilt. While I quilted, Teensy held vigil on the banister just outside my studio door. The pantograph is called 'Star Light'.

Customer's RWB Fireworks Quilt
Three-quarters of my customer's red, white, and blue fireworks quilt is quilted. The top thread is cream-colored #50 So Fine, and the bottom thread is white #60 Bottom Line.

Customer's Black, Gray, Cream Quilt and Shams Finished
Tonight I finished my customer's black, gray, and cream-colored queen-sized (89" x 92") quilt and two shams (each 22" x 28"), despite the speed bump that insisted on positioning himself wherever he thought I was most likely to step. The shams are plain black, with the same pantograph, which is called Monstera. I used #60 light silver Bottom Line thread by Superior both top and bottom.

Quilting Customer's Black, Gray, and Cream Quilt
After quilting all day today, the last border of my customer's black, gray, and cream quilt has shown up. I should be able to finish it tomorrow.
The cats faithfully keep me company.

I heard an odd twitter this afternoon, and, discovering a Redpoll at the feeder, a rare bird for our area, I dashed for my 300mm lens. Can you tell the difference between the Redpoll and the house finch?
