Basket of Lilies Block

This is the Basket block pattern that will alternate with the appliquéd Petals block in the Basket of Lilies quilt.  Now for the fun part:  pulling out fabric!  I'm going to make it scrappy.  There are 25 of these 18" blocks.

Cutting Petals for the 'Baskets of Lilies' Quilt

216 petals are cut for a quilt I designed in EQ7, which I'm going to call 'Baskets of Lilies'.  I used the Sizzix eclips2 cutter that my children gave me for Christmas last year.  It's quite the nifty (and handy) toy!

Quilting Finished on Lydia's 'Ladybug Landing' Quilt

Last night I completed the quilting on Lydia's 'Ladybug Landing' baby quilt.  

Can you see the 'Lil Ladybug' pantograph?

It just didn't show up much, not on the busy flowered fabric on the front of the quilt, and not on the polka-dot back, either.

Daughter Lydia made this cute baby quilt, called 'Ladybug Landing'.  I'm doing custom quilting on it, and am about half done.

There's a 'Lil Ladybug' pantograph on the flowered fabric, but the fabric is so busy, you can't even see it.
