I'm on the last border of my customer's quilt, though I do have to go back and fill in the darker background areas. The thread that matches that fabric arrived today. But in all the excitement over the raccoons, and Father's Day visits from some of the children (they gave us steak, and Larry smoked it in the Traeger grill! --- mmmm, mmm), I didn't get the quilt finished.

Quilting Customer's Batik Quilt
The light-colored square is the center of the quilt... so I'd be more than halfway done, except I've skipped the darker background area until another cone of better-matching thread arrives.

Quilting Batik Quilt
More quilting done on my customer's batik quilt today:
I see a triangle that should have some feathers in it. 😏
The kind of stitching in the middle strip is called 'McTavishing'.

Quilting a Customer's Batik Quilt
I've gotten a good start on my customer's batik quilt:
Using my new swag rulers
(It really doesn't have as many ripples as it appears; I've turned out all the overhead lights and shot the photo from the side so the stitching shows up, and that exaggerates any slight rumple or rimple.)
There we go; see, that green row is nice and smooth now. 🙃
Not done with this next row yet... just put in the outlines so far.
