Quilting JoeAnn's Ladybugs & Friends

 Today I started quilting my customer's 'Ladybugs & Friends' quilt.  I'm using light silver So Fine 50-weight thread on top, and dark charcoal Bottom Line 60-weight thread in the bobbin.  The pantograph is called Bugs & Bubbles.

JoeAnn's Shadowbox Favorites Quilt

 My customer's Shadowbox Favorites quilt is all done.  I used a soft yellow 40-weight Omni thread called ‘Butter’ on top, and light yellow 60-weight Bottom Line in the bobbin. The pantograph is called 'Angelica'; it's one of my favorites.  The quilt measures 63" x 87".

JoeAnn's Daffodil Quilt, Finished

My customer's Daffodil quilt is done.  I used a soft yellow 40-weight Omni thread called ‘Butter’ on top, and light yellow 60-weight Bottom Line in the bobbin. The pantograph is called 'Deb's Daffodils'.  The quilt measures 62" x 62".

Thirty 9-Patch Blocks

 Today I sewed together thirty 9-patch blocks.  These 6" blocks are for the dark outer edge of the Blooming 9-Patch.  Next, the lighter and lighter plum colors... then Color #2... 

Beginning the Colorwash Blooming 9-Patch Quilt

I've started a new quilt -- a Colorwash Blooming 9-Patch. It will be king-sized -- 111" x 120". Today I finished cutting all the pieces (there are 1,376) and sewed the outermost corners together.

Linda's Quilt, 'Justin's Souvenir of Nana'

 Today I quilted my customer's quilt that she made for her grandson, and is calling 'Justin's Souvenir of Nana' quilt.  It measures 61" x 61".  I used light charcoal 40-weight Gütermann thread on top, and cobalt blue 40-weight Signature thread in the bobbin.  I don't usually use that heavy of thread in the bobbin, but it happened to match perfectly, and looks quite pretty on that backing fabric.  But I sure had to fill the bobbin a lot more often than when I use 60-weight thread in it!  The light charcoal on top blended pretty well with all the colors, and showed up nicely on the black sashing and borders.  The pantograph is 'Evening Primrose'.
