Central Section, New York Beauty

The central part of the New York Beauty Variation quilt, measuring about 94" x 94", is together.  Now for the borders!  The quilt will measure 122" x 122" when it's complete.  I have 160 hours in it so far.

New York Beauty Variation Blocks, Complete with Lace

All 40 New York Beauty Variation blocks, including the four for the two pillow shams, are together now, and the Venice lace is sewn on.  Finished size of each block is 15".  Next:  square up the blocks and sew them together, then start on the borders.  I have 148 hours in this quilt so far.

New York Beauty Variation Quilt, 36 Blocks Mostly Done

35 blocks on the New York Beauty Variation quilt are done except for the corner pieces and the Venice lace on the arc... and the 36th block is completely done, except for the pearls, which I will not put on until the quilt is totally finished, binding and all.

I now have 96.5 hours in this quilt, including the designing.
