Why don't I have any lilac-colored quilting thread?? I need it for the next four 'I Wish You Well' blocks. But look! I found a small, ancient spool of lilac J&P Dual Duty Plus in my later sister-in-law Janice's sewing things, which I try to use whenever possible. (My late brother Loren was always pleased when I told him I'd used any of these things Janice gave me shortly before she passed away.) Reckon the Cavalry will come galloping in, brandishing sabers and carbines, if I stick this old thread on my quilting machine and give it a try? (Those smaller spools in the background are the only long-stapled threads available at our LQS.)
