Six More Blocks, Starry Shadows Quilt

Today I got six more blocks done for the Starry Shadows quilt.  In the middle of this endeavor, I walked to the east window to take a picture of the pretty day -- and then through the north window spotted Larry arriving home from work.  You can see the exact moment he heard me knock on the glass.

Block is from Judy Martin's book Scraps.  She calls her quilt 'Hollywood Boulevard'.

  1. You have an amazing stash to be able to pull all of these wonderful fabrics that coordinate so well together.
I think this has now become my favourite block. If I can figure out the size and type of block, I am going to try make some. Definitely don't have the variety of fabrics that you have, so they might not be as beautiful as yours. Tried searching on line for the quilt pattern. To no avail. Gaahh...
Isn't fusion fabric terrific. Wish it was still made, loved that branches line!

  2. Oops, on closer look, your shadows are probably not fusions, but very similar

  3. Thank you, Nadine! The blocks are all pieced; no fusion. If you look back a couple of posts, you'll see all the pieces I cut. 😃 The book can be found on Amazon. 😊
