The New York Beauty pillow shams are all done, which means this project is now finished! Over. Through. Complete. All done!!! Each king-sized sham measures 19" x 36".
The backs are made of the same fabric as the quilt backing. They are of two overlapped and lined pieces of fabric, so that the pillows can be removed when needed.
This entire project took 639.5 hours.
Total cost, $383.59. (Had I not gotten many things on sale, it would've been $653.72.)
That includes fabric, piecing thread, lace, quilting thread, pearls, batting, pre-strung beads, and iron-on-interfacing (for the borders on the pillow shams).
I plan to enter quilt and pillows in the County and State Fairs, and then in some quilting shows before giving the ensemble to son-in-law and daughter, Jeremy and Lydia.
