This morning I was surprised by a call from Nebraska Quilt Company telling me my machine had already been repaired. I was soon on my way to Fremont to pick it up. Thankfully, it is stitching beautifully again, and sounds better than it did before the mishap. It had been sounding a bit clanky, which has been troubling me somewhat. Now it sounds smooth and nice.
Nebr. Quilt Co. had also attempted to order a timing kit for me. I'd tried to get one online, but every time I found one, it was out of stock. Another surprise -- the time kit had arrived in their morning's shipping order!
"Now I can hit rulers with abandon!" I exclaimed happily, making the lady laugh.
What, did she think I was kidding?!
Anyway, I got about a third of a row done, and all is well.
