Loaded & Ready to Quilt!

Loaded and ready to start quilting -- first quilt on my new-to-me Avanté!  (And of course Teensy has to be as close to me as possible.)

All I've done so far with my new machine is baste the batting to the backing... and then the top to batting and backing both. And so far, I love my 'new' Avanté. And the frame. It's soooo nice -- much sturdier, and so easy to turn the bars. The take-up bar has a handle on a big wheel. Easier on my hands.

I had to piece the backing, even though it's 110" wide, as the quilt is 115" x 115". I got a piece of batting that's 120" x 120", medium-high loft.
