Vintage Toddlers Quilt Done

My thread arrived, and the Vintage Toddlers quilt is done.  It measures 47½" x 47½".  I used 50-wt. cream So Fine thread on top, and 60-wt. cream Bottom Line thread in the bobbin.  The batting is soft, thin cotton.  My friend cut the squares from an allover print, and her teenage daughter and her two friends put this quilt together for the friends' new baby brother.

And Then I Ran Out of Thread...

 I was allllllllllmost done quilting, oh so very, very close --- and then I ran out of thread.  Another cone of thread is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

 Today I've been doing light custom quilting on a baby quilt three young teenagers, two of whom are sisters, have put together, with a bit of help from one girl's mother.  They made the quilt for the sisters' new baby brother.
