Today I loaded my customer's Starry Log Cabin quilt on my frame and got a good start on it. I had some Bottom Line 60-wt. thread in Lilac that perfectly matches the backing, and I’m using Omni 40-wt. in soft Butter color that is blending very nicely on top.
I always have high hopes of coming home from church and getting back to quilting for a little while, but Larry and I generally have a late supper and chat for a little while – and suddenly it’s later than I thought, and my recliner is looking enticing, and if the longarm is calling my name, I can’t hear it!
Anyway, the top border is done, and a little bit of the next row is done. Here are some before and after shots.
