Today I started quilting a lavender and green batik strip quilt, made by a little friend who is 11 ½ years old. She plans to give it to her grandmother, whose favorite color is purple. The pantograph is called 'Aves'. I'm using 60-weight dark silver Bottom Line thread in the bobbin, and 40-weight teal blue Signature thread on top.
I had to chuckle when you mentioned 11 1/2 years. That half year is so important at that age! :-) So nice of you to do that for her!! :-) She'll love you forever!
