Quilting Has Begun on the Americana Eagle Quilt
After a delay to work on customer quilts, make a birthday quilt (Jeremy's Elk panel quilt), make a rag-shag rug, and do a bit of spring cleaning, I've started the quilting on the Americana Eagle quilt!
I'm using two layers of batting, in order to make the quilting more defined. Next to the backing is a layer of Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 (80% cotton, 20% polyester). An top of that is Hobbs Poly-Down Premium Polyester.
The first border is done. The loft seems good. The last picture shows the rulers I am using to make the quilting design.
