Past Halfway, Baskets of Lilies Quilt

Despite a snafu with shredding, breaking thread yesterday (probably a timing issue that will need to be rectified in the future -- temporarily solved with a larger, size 20 needle), I've just finished the third row of the day, taking me past the halfway point.  I think I have enough oomph to do one more row tonight.  Maybe.  😉

  1. That is a huge needle, Sarah Lynn. Are you using a new-to-you thread?

    1. No, I'm using #50 So Fine by Superior, which I've used for many years. I'm pretty much of the notion that the bobbin is the culprit in the equation. Probably because my bobbin winder isn't putting the right tension on bobbins as it winds -- and I think it threw my machine slightly out of time. A bigger needle will more likely pick up the thread -- but it's a Band-Aid, not a real fix.
