It's a whole lot easier to steam large backings as I load them on my frame than to try ironing them on my little wobbly ironing board.
I'm loading another customer quilt. (Tried to capture the steam -- my Rowenta steam station puts it out like an old-time steam engine -- but you can't see it. Should've taken a picture of my glasses, after the photo shoot. heh)
