I spent a good part of the day working on the white patches on this row of the New York Beauty, and was finally able to roll the quilt forward a bit on the frame. This stuff takes a lot of time! Or maybe I'm just slow. 😏
There's the usual speed bump.
Oops, woke him up! Sorry, Teensy.
Not much space left on the frame!
No wonder Teensy's underfoot! -- Tiger's in his bed. Again.
After quilting all the cream-colored areas on the first row as far as I could go without rolling the quilt forward on the frame, I rethreaded the machine with white thread and started on the white background patches.
Quilting the first row of blocks on the New York Beauty quilt. Teensy is waiting 'til I'm not looking, so he can go snuggle up in the batting that's hanging onto the floor. The last three photos show a framed picture Jeremy and Lydia gave me for Christmas. I had the perfect spot for it in my quilting studio.
The cream-on-white triangles are quilted on the top border.
Oh, and I carried the cats' Thermabeds upstairs and put them in my quilting studio. Then I ordered Tiger out of the batting under the frame -- so he went and got in... Teensy's bed.
